SADEEQ is a mentorship program designed to help young Muslim children grow in faith, confidence, and character through joyful experiences, meaningful role models, and genuine community — because who shows up for a child shapes who that child becomes.
Every child deserves someone in their corner — someone who shows up, who cares, and who helps them grow into the best version of themselves. Not because they have to. Because they want to. That's SADEEQ.

What is SADEEQ
More than a program. A community that shows up.
SADEEQ was founded by a high school student who grew up seeing the impact that elder role models can have — and felt called to create that same experience for younger kids. Rooted in a passion for psychology and human development, SADEEQ was built on the understanding that the relationships children form early in life shape everything that follows.
This isn't tutoring. It isn't Sunday school. It's something more — a space where younger children are paired with mentors who genuinely invest in who they're becoming.
When the program ends, the hope is that the relationship doesn't. That the mentor who showed up becomes someone their mentee carries with them — through the hard years, the growing years, and every stage beyond.

Our Mentors
Who shows up for your child.
SADEEQ mentors are Muslim students and young adults between 15 and 23, in high school or college, selected for their sincerity, patience, and character. Every mentor goes through an application process and is prepared with a structured framework before the program begins.
Mentors are split into two divisions based on their strengths — and every role matters equally.

FAQs
Questions parents actually ask.
For Parents
Who are the mentors?
+
Mentors are Muslim students and young adults between 15 and 23, in high school or college, selected for their sincerity, patience, and character. Every mentor goes through an application process and is equipped with a structured framework to guide conversations and mentorship with care and intentionality. We choose carefully, and we prepare them thoroughly.
How long is the program?
+
SADEEQ runs sessions twice a month. The program has a defined season, but the relationships built within it are meant to last well beyond that.
What happens if my child misses a session?
+
Life happens and we completely understand. Just let us know in advance if possible so we can plan accordingly. Your child's mentor will check in with them before the next session to make sure they feel caught up and connected. Missing a session doesn't affect their place in the program.
What age range is SADEEQ for?
+
Children ages 6–12, split into two groups: Budding Believers (ages 6–8) with a 1:2–3 mentor ratio, and Young Leaders (ages 9–12) with dedicated 1-on-1 mentorship. Each group has its own structure tailored to where they are developmentally.
Is this an Islamic school or religious program?
+
No. SADEEQ is a mentorship and character program, not a religious school or tutoring program. Faith and good character are woven into everything naturally, but this is first and foremost about building genuine relationships and helping kids grow into their best selves.
How will my child be matched with a mentor?
+
Matching is done thoughtfully and personally, based on your child's personality, interests, and any areas where they'd benefit from support, gathered through the registration form. We take the pairing seriously because the right match makes all the difference.
For Mentors
What is the time commitment?
+
Sessions run 2 hours, and we ask mentors to arrive about 30 minutes early to help set up and stay around 30 minutes after to help wrap up, so roughly 3 hours per session day. Outside of that, a quick check-in with your mentee between sessions goes a long way. It's a meaningful commitment, but one that fits into a normal schedule.
Am I paired with the same child every session?
+
Yes, always. The consistency of that relationship is what makes SADEEQ work. You and your mentee are paired for the full program season, and that connection doesn't end when it does. You'll know each other, trust each other, and that bond carries forward.
What if a child tells me something serious or concerning?
+
First, stay calm and make the child feel heard. You are not expected to handle it alone. Every SADEEQ mentor receives a handbook before the program begins that covers exactly how to navigate sensitive conversations, what to say, what not to say, and the steps to follow. When in doubt, refer to the handbook and always bring it to the program director directly. You will never be left without guidance.
What do mentors get out of this?
+
More than you might expect. Mentors earn verified volunteer hours for every session, valuable for college applications, NHS, scholarships, and résumés. But beyond that, you gain real leadership experience, a deeper understanding of yourself, and the kind of impact that actually stays with you. Watching a younger kid grow because of your presence is something you can't put a number on. You also become part of a team of like-minded young Muslims doing something genuinely meaningful together.
For Donors
Can I sponsor a specific session or activity?
+
Absolutely, and we love this. If you'd like to sponsor a specific session, activity, or supply run, reach out to us directly at projectsadeeq@gmail.com and we'll make it happen. Your contribution will go directly toward that experience for the kids, and we'll keep you updated on how it went.
Where does my donation go?
+
Every dollar goes directly into the program, covering session supplies, activity materials, snacks, and treats. Nothing is wasted. SADEEQ is run entirely by volunteers, so your donation goes straight to the kids.
